A s t i e r d e V i l l a t t e makes lovely scented candles. About A l g e r, my favourite, they write:
"A North African city with Parisiennes overtones. Whitewashed Hausmanian Facades, Persian blinds painted blue, overwhelming heat, a touch of sulphur in the air. From trembling arcades rise delicious perfumes of white campion, privet flowers, wild jasmine, and bitter orange with its acidic notes spiced with a hint of chilli."
Close your eyes and go.
Go where the scent takes you.
Go where the scent takes you.
Both candles bought at this little gem: Libertine. Go there. Or to Alger. At least let your heart wander a bit.
